Women Empowerment in India
Women Empowerment in India – Did you know that women in India represent almost 30 percent of the labor force and most of the work done by them in unpaid, unprotected and unaccounted for? Does that even sound fair?
Because of their incredible capabilities, women deserve so much more than to get degraded and insulted and get thrown in the cage of prejudice. We must all stand up and fight for women’s rights! That’s where women empowerment comes in.
Empowering women will not only make them stronger but will allow them to make tough decisions through problems that arise in society. India not only provides equality to women but empowers them to fight the negative discrimination they receive.
However, sadly, most of the parts in India still hold firm that women shouldn’t be treated as fairly as men. No matter what, they won’t recognize women’s worth and that’s just unfortunate because you’re forcing down your throat something raw and hard and eventually, it’s going to hurt you even though the majority people in India worship female goddesses and give abundant respect to their mothers, sisters, daughters, and etc.
So what can you do to Women Empowerment ?
- Encourage them, appreciate the hard work that they do and give thanks to them.
- Help those women who just gave birth because trust me, you have no idea what they go through just to bring a new life to this earth.
- Invest and help female entrepreneurs.
- Support the women/girls who are subjected to child labor, abuse, child marriage, trafficking, etc.
- Educate them.
Women should be treated equally just like men and they must receive the same amount of justice and fairness. After all, you can’t just make a child with just the man, can you? You need both the women and the men to have a harmonious and productive life. Each of them is two sides of the same coin and that’s what we must hold onto for the rest of our lives.
Women have been suffering for as long as everyone knows. They have been driven to domestic violence, harassment, and violations even in governmental issues, unlike men who are given the easy path to walk on.
Women have as much of the rights to everything as the men and that’s what we must voice out! You will be surprised by the overwhelming support of India to empower women and to give them just as much salary, respect, and honor as men. In fact, women’s empowerment is fundamental to guarantee the sustainable development of any country.
